I recently had the pleasure of working on the new wedding photography website of two of my very good friends, Carlo & Kris Santos, owner and founder of Tryst Studioworks.

The newlyweds are embarking on their biggest journey yet, not only starting their life together as husband and wife, but as business partners.

Carlo came from the art background having graduated in culinary school, creating scrumptious dishes from scratch. Kris, on the other hand, came from the event industry, having planned and executed numerous trade shows and conferences in the Metro D.C. area. Both were successful in their chosen careers but for them, something was missing.

Soon after the two tied the knot in the Outer Banks, North Carolina, they decided to take it a step further and go to photography school. However, halfway through the program, Carlo and Kris  packed their bags and flew across the Atlantic ocean to learn from the best and be among the company of other wedding photographers in the world.

Tryst Studioworks was born — a Washington D.C. wedding photography company nestled in Old Town, Alexandria.
